Shantanu has worked with a leading policy think tank, Centre for Civil Society (CCS), for policy research and advocacy for education domain. Before that he worked for UNICEF’s Integrated District Approach (IDA) project in Lalitpur, a remote district in hinterlands of Uttar Pradesh. Working very closely with the local government to improve the service delivery for education, health, sanitation and women & child welfare programs.
Shantanu has worked as management and consultant for about a decade across several countries including India, Switzerland, Cyprus, Hungary, Israel and United Kingdom before leaving the corporate career for his passion to be in the social sector.
Shantanu is a post graduate from Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex (UK) in Governance and Development and done his research projects on E-governance, Local Governance and Public service delivery with eminent professors and development professionals. Before this he has completed his Post Graduate Certification in Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
Pushkar Sharma, is an engineering graduate and a social activist, working among youth, colleges, young leaders, social organizations and NGOs. He heads the youth connect program of YUVA Foundation in college and university campuses. He links government youth programs to colleges. He works closely with the foreign students studying in India. He was awarded the youth icon of the year in Indore, MP in 2013
Vijay has 12 years experience in integrated micro planning with rural and tribal communities, macro response planning, monitoring team of field and block level coordinators and development of management systems for programme implementation. He has conducted more than 200 hours of training with pradhans, and other village level functionaries like Anganwadi worker, ASHA, etc.
His key areas of expertise include integrated planning, promotion of SHG based micro enterprises, mother child health and nutrition and HIV/AIDS. He has coordinated integrated village planning and convergence project supported by the UNICEF, Poverty alleviation programme supported by the PACS/DFID and mother and child health programme financially supported by the UP government. Apart from development programmes, he has proven abilities in promotion of district level collective forums of NGOs and building both financial and non financial partnership with local NGOs in Bundelkhand region.
Swetha is the communication expert for YUVA. She is working on the outreach aspects of the programs and action research done by YUVA. Swetha has done her graduation from Osmania University and PG Diploma in Customer Relationship Management.
